It’s a very strange one, because all the pre-release versions I tried of Neo (basically very cut down versions, highlighting various features) were on a par with AI on performance. The best comparison to use when judging Luminar Neo is to compare it to LuminarAI. Which they strangely left off the initial release. This is all very promising, and in the future, they have more features such as Mask AI.

Luminar Neo is said to be written from the ground up, and capable of doing all that its predecessors do, plus a lot more. LuminarAI is fast, reliable and has amazing features that let you get the job done quickly. For those who use the software, you’ll know that since its launch LuminarAI managed to get updated to become their best ever editing package. Neo is the follow up editing package to LuminarAI, which in itself is a follow up to Luminar 4. Skylum software has promised an editing package of phenomenal power, but have they delivered? So based on my understanding you shouldn’t be sending an email but rather that they should be contacting you via email once you fill in that form.I’ve been testing Luminar Neo for the last three months or so now, so I knew what my expectations would be for the final release.
LUMINAR NEO 2 ACTIVATION CODE
One to email you a download link if you give them the activation code and another to request support. In theory everything should get back to relative normality at some point and allow either Microsoft or Skylum to fix whatever the problem would be. Even apple has trouble rolling out major updates without bugs and they have a much more controlled environment. New windows versions historically tend to be a bit unstable for a couple of months. Not sure about Luminar Neo, but Luminar AI and a bunch of older skylum products all have download and activation/license reset links on my Skylum account page, under “My Software” once logged in. They might have already rerouted server resources to other countries since the war is causing network issues. I don’t seem to be getting any problems at the moment so it might be worth checking again if you’re struggling with a download.
The servers might also be dealing with the side effects of cyber warfare. Their usual support structures probably aren’t in place right now. Skylum was founded in and is largely based in Ukraine.
